In the summer time we went down there

In the summer time, we did go, oh

We were surrounded by strangers

I cannot think it over/of it today

Everyone's so close by

Even when I shut the door

They were still so close

Sometimes, you know I just can't get over it

Oh, those happy, happy days when I felt so alone

Escaped from a world ruled by the dreams of children

Make me into the creature I desire they praise

Ah, it's so much better now

But it feels so hollow

When no one is on your neck

Making you regret what you had to do

You better stay busy baby or else they'll catch you dreaming too

What do you wish for and what comes true

Anybody that was good was burned out so

Another day just keep up all the bad, bad work

'Cause they were driven out

So y'know, you really ought to learn

Like an obese on wooden crutches slowly crossing the room

Holding me up for an hour, advice and colds to give

Forgetting to consider that I could not care the wind is (?)

Because I feel so much better now

I like having it all out there

If I turn away I'm looking somewhere else

Now 'bout the many here return

If I'm walking it's not that I'm walking away

If I'm walking it's not that I'm walking away

Out of Reach

C'mon, c'mon, c'mon

You're out of your mind

Oh, you're looking so old, acting so cold

I don't know what you did to deserve it

When I saw you yesterday

There was nothing left to say

But c'mon, c'mon, c'mon

I'm out of reach now

And somebody walks by hands over their face

To told me to scar your sweet, tender chances

Hit and stick and say it's true

Still I wonder what I can do

So c'mon, c'mon, c'mon

You're out of your mind

Save those rays for someone

Any mother's son

Dreams of diamonds and rings

They can never feel things that they can't understand

Yeah, when I saw you yesterday

There was nothing else to say

But c'mon, c'mon, c'mon

You can't believe that

C'mon, c'mon, c'mon

I'm out of reach now
