Sky Burial

On Heresy

I. A Shrine on the Mountain

(Instrumental)

II. The Ritual

On mountain pantheons

Crawling dawn among the cathedrals of cold stone ascends

Embraces ancient sanctuary

It hides from worldy sight

Charnel grounds

Altar possessed by death

A sacred place for cultivating forthcoming emptiness

Below the first light

Priests, brothers of karma

Prepare the rotting earthly gifts for aerial coroners

The Daikins

Supreme tyrants of Jhator

Oh sky dancers

Generous offering

Human transition

Into cloud furnace of the enlightened onе

He, who has changing faces knows the grеat beyond

Consciousness has the task to fly through endless lands

Witness countless nights and days in the ever-forming cycle

It's the will of samsara

It’s the will of the insight

The eternal liberation of travelling oneness

Fierce, feathered beasts of storm ngesting the old flesh

This impermanent vessel for continuous separations

Bury me in the wind

Bury deep in the final gale at the end

To see the other side of this darkness

From the final breath

Until the first steps on forbidden heavens

Embrace the air! Liberate me!

Free me from chocking stillness

Let me join you oh dancers

In the floating valley of the sky

Stellar end and forming beginning

Are devouring the opened gates of the body

Releasing the essential unified seed of non-decaying self

Now the shrine glows in luminous radiant evolution of spirits

III. Astral Departure

IV. On the Horizon of Bardo

“In recollection

Of all former births

Passed before his eyes

Born in such a place, of such a name

And downwards to his present birth, So through hundreds

Thousands myriads, all his births and deaths he knew.”

(Bardo Tödöl – Tibetan Book of the Dead)

A pilgrimage begins into silent towers of justice

A sojourn is bittersweet where decline itself is rising

An enthrophy and summoning shall cohere, so one meets judgement

On the horizon of bardo you mean nothing

Embrace the air! Liberate me!

Free me from chocking stillness

Let me join you oh dancers!

Bury me in the wind

Bury deep in the final gale at the end

To see the other side of this darkness

From the final breath

Until the first steps on forbidden heavens

Liberate me!

V. A Waking World Unknown
