NAV would later release a project titled “Perfect Timing” with producer Metro Boomin in 2017.
During this era of his music, NAV had a habit of referencing past songs, but this is an interesting coincidence almost like a future reference. Maybe NAV always knew he wanted to title one of his mixtapes “Perfect Timing.”
This is a shoutout to a song called “Can’t Take That Back” by Trouble Trouble. NAV produced the track and was a friend of the artist.
