Upward as a phoenix rises life’s truest blessings

Only come to the ones who shine when even the sun is dark

And the heart is tired weary from suffering’s relentless fires

Then comes onslaught by doubt upon thought’s sharpened sword

To keep imagination from enacting limitless forms

Well then know each and every soul has forgotten its own

Original infinite potential trust in the extra dimensional

Hidden aisles and rotating tiles delivered in a barroom style

With the hint of a gospel smile regardless there is no fate

We cannot erase what ego may wish to charge mind can change

What Satan may wish to possess god can claim

Amongst whatever color and shape you may find yourself buried in

End to begin within or as some say become born again

That’s why I get lost in the rhapsody

Conjure the serpent’s hood to shield the focus of intention

From intervention by chaos ignorance or hatred

My aim is to live fully in the present guided by faith

Gratitude and self-contemplation up and up as if a child’s balloon

Lost all too soon time is a circle bend the spoon

Through the hourglass go ahead and ask who it is behind the mask

Now lets speak about sources forces and ports of call

When I come I come to sing on a mountain tall

Never from one perspective I study as deeply as is to be expected

Still I believe and remain open to see new directions

Inflections and prophecies everyday

I set sail like Telemachus for Ulysess

How could I not with skills like these read omens

As blind men read brail

To gather pieces of the most sacred tale

So then as to wade from cradle slipstream grave

And bring the water to the wheel as if flesh to steel

I am nobody’s man steady as she goes I push off tomorrow

As an arrow from the bow balancing between fate and free will

The apple awaits the kill off from the dock tick-tock nonstop

Whether dusk or dawn collapse the wave function

And become the presence you wish to be

Who we are is not the sum of any our histories

I have no ability to explain with word languages

The nature of the game except to say

The deeper the root the higher grows the tree

Without the details of our lives

We would be unable to forget the forest for the tree

And thus would be forced to face the greatest of mysteries

Which could easily dwarf any well-built identity

What we have most in common is the journey itself

From life into death

And death into life until the vibration at last comes to rest

And is given the opportunity to witness the story of the light

In its fullest only then with this as its guide

May we to find true direction or bring our will to bear

In this place called space and time where

All must crumble into dust leaving us fingers crossed

And one hand in the pocket of chance

Up from the belly of the whale truth be told only time will tell
