Ghosts inside my memory

Holes in my heart where you used to be

Cut you out of the pictures in my head

How do I make sense of this

Does anything besides you still exist

It ain’t healthy, remember how you held me

Scrawling on the walls cause nobody will ever help me

Nobody will ever help me

Nothing changes if I cry harder

If I'mma die then I’ll be your martyr

You withered away

Into the flower that sits on the floor of the soon to be grave

We are the walls in formless shapes

You are the feelings I couldn’t escape

I am a futile attempt to satisfy

A growing empty space inside a heart

You disowned long ago

You don’t know and I don’t know

Why my feelings change with the seasons

If everything happens for a reason

Then why did we meet?

You dig your fingers into the seams

Between my brain and my heart

And with an unassuming motion you tore my life apart

I thought I saw you at the street light ahead

But it’s just a fragment of something you said

Being spoken by someone I don’t even know

I need you more than you’ll ever know

Ghosts inside my memory

Holes in my heart where you used to be

Cut you out of the pictures in my head

How do I make sense of this

Does anything besides you still exist

It ain’t healthy, remember how you held me

Scrawling on the walls cause nobody will ever help me

Nobody will ever help me
