Yeah yeah... [Modenine!]

Here we go.. [Nomoreless!]

Bring it in, uh

Yeah

We gon' tell another story, yeah [Story teller!]

Make money and tell stories

Yo

[Verse 1, Modenine]

The path to wisdom and knowledge is not an easy road

Now here's a little story that most be told

About a kid called Dele, living with his dad

Good footballer but his school work was bad

'cause he never read [olodo!], that made his pop sad

Report card says that he's last in his class

What made it really bad is that he didn't get a pass

Always bagging F9, in English and Maths

For that alone he got his pocket money ripped in half

[Life is so hard!] He screamed out in rage

Did you have the same problems when you was my age?

His dad nodded, I could barely read a page

But I got the recipe, the medicine man

To administer elixir for you to pass your JAMB

The boy went to sleep happy, not knowing that his father set him up

It's all part of growing up

If this trick doesn't work we got a big problem

Pops calls a friend, Baba Soji, bawo

Talks a bit, listen up it's going down tomorrow

You know what to do, play the role of babalawo

[Chorus, Nomoreloss]

Omo mi oh [Omo mi oh]

O ni'un ti n o fun o [O ni'un ti n o fun o]

Ti o je o gbon [Ti o je o gbon]

Ti a n pe ni ogun isoye oh [Ti a n pe ni ogun isoye oh]

[Verse 2, Modenine]

The next day Baba Soji, dressed like a herbalist

Dele promised his dad, not to blurt a word of this

To anybody, not even his nosy friends

They got to the spot at a quarter past ten, then

They heard a voice, can I help you Mr man?

His father said, I want my boy to pass JAMB

No problem, I have the herb that you need

Swallow one in the morning after you feed

And make sure you read, do the same thing at night

But if you don't read, it will not work right

He winked at the boy gave his pops a knowing look

For the next few weeks Dele was reading his books

And swallowing soup and dry leaves

'cause he believed that the herb was working, pops was relieved

He passed JAMB, beat the cutoff feeling victorious, [ope oh!]

The moral of the story is

Read and pass there's no medicine for knowledge

Dele found out the moment he got in college

In his first class, he got shocked and swore slowly

'cause Baba Soji was his HOD

[Chorus, Nomoreloss]

Omo mi oh [Omo mi oh]

O ni'un ti n o fun o [O ni'un ti n o fun o]

Ti o je o gbon [Ti o je o gbon]

Ti a n pe ni ogun isoye oh [Ti a n pe ni ogun isoye oh]

[Bridge, Nomoreloss]
