[Verse 1]

Born in the News at 3:09 in the noon

Some days, I feel sorta blind in this room

As if I left it all behind, in the back of my mind

Maybe I could have tried, wiped the tears that I cried

At age 4, I knew I had felt the world in my hand

And by 12, I must have started up with this plan

I honed this passion and made it happen

I dropped the front and started rapping

[Hook]

I don’t wanna think without you

I don’t wanna breathe around you

Because seeing is still believing

So what is a heart worth beating?

[Chorus]

Images that bring me back to myself

Without these, I would have been somebody else

You tell me about time, I don’t remember your name

It’s been awhile, so, was I the only one to blame?

[Verse 2]

My story was the one they tell

And you may have heard I went through hell

Well, now, I’m doing swell

Had to get the hell up from wherever I fell

Children that lost their only friends can relate

To have the people you never thought you would replace

To lose the ones who stopped the tears on your face

As if we only found ourselves inside this haze

Skin deep, our words still reach chambers of the heart

Live on, and be the light inside someone’s dark

[Hook]

I don’t wanna think without you

I don’t wanna breathe around you

Because seeing is still believing

So what is a heart worth beating?

[Chorus]

Images that bring me back to myself

Without these, I would have been somebody else

You tell me about time, I don’t remember your name

It’s been awhile, so, was I the only one to blame?
