And also refers to Renegade a classic song by Jay Z featuring Eminem, which popularized the term “Renegade” in Hip Hop, due to the fact that most people (even Nas) agree that Eminem killed Jay on his own song (Renegaded him).
M.G.K. brought in some local guys to record the video for RATCHET with other artists on the song. Instead of passing the video over to MGK to post, the camera guy edited it all up and put it out before him.
The chorus interpolates part of the first verse of the song Electric Bloom by the british indie rock band Foals, released in 2008 as part of their debut album Antidotes.
