Trying hard to get myself away

From this lonely place

This is an early warning

I try to get my head above the rising tide of rolling eyes

Perhaps there will be a collapse

This is adding up

I mean for years

A penance we have been given

It seems so unreal

That we don't perceive

Reality as it is
