Return to Hangar - Intellectual

In this verse Mustaine further elaborates on the tragic events of Hangar 18. Since no one is alive to tell the tale,what truly happened will never be fully known. Hangar 18 also has a connection to the military which Mustaine also points out.

The aliens at Hangar 18 have escaped their confinement/have come back from the dead and killed everyone at the Hangar

This is a reference to the lyric from the original, Hangar 18: Military intelligence – two words combined that can’t make sense

The government which had occupied it has long since been gone and the natural erosion and rust begin to take in the walls

These lines entail how the aliens crash landed on earth in the first place (navigation system failure), and how the computer banks in Hangar 18 have long since been broken/Out of Service

This line most likely tells the fate of the cowards mentioned in the previous verse: they all hung themselves instead of telling the world what happened inside Hangar 18.
