Seen the glory and the coming, ain't worried about nothing cause my time on this planet is a gift

Memphis is a warzone, the tension's ascending

Blacks are in the streets inciting riots saying there's no time for non violence, but I don't buy it

So tomorrow I'm leading this protest

I'm so stressed, I just pray we don't see no more death

Sanitation workers being treated unfair on the strength of their skin color and texture of hair

It ain't right, it ain't up for discussion

For evil to triumph, all it takes is for the good to do nothing

We marching, right into the thick of the front lines

It's stressful, but something got to give at some time
