You can sell the guitars

Maybe just keep the best one

In case someday our boy wants to learn

Make sure the album gets done

But they are the part of myself that lives on

Please don’t stop playing beautiful chords on the family piano

Don’t let me be the reason that music went out of your life

When you’re ready again, I hope you keep singing on Sundays

I know it’ll take time before any of that can feel right
