Welcome to Arbitrary, Incorporated!

We hope you enjoy your visit!

[Mat4yo]:

It’s hard for me to think here at Arbitrary, Inc

Filling cartridges with ink or cleaning garbage out the sink

How's a starving artist ever gonna dominate the market

When he’s washing cars and never gets to starting something big?

It’s hard for me to think here at Arbitrary, Inc

Filling cartridges with ink or cleaning garbage out the sink

How's a starving artist ever gonna dominate the market

When he’s washing cars and never gets to starting something big?

He said, "You gotta be a handy man, Mattie"

I said, "I don’t think I can, daddy"

The oddest toddler waddled round the carpet trying to toss a ball

But cost his dad and mom a couple dollars when he broke his arm

A lack of strength has always challenged me

The only thing I’ve ever carried was the talent gene

But I knew how to stride the balance beam

Between

What the world would call reality

And fantasies that only I’m imagining

And my pallet's clean, too

I’ve got a million doors cracked open

But only two feet to stick em through

I wanna do something only I can do

Not the arbitrary hands that are used to make machines move

Success is far but there’s a twinkle

In the stars that I can see

Don’t say we aren’t at the brink

Put an artist in the ring

And I’m as scrawny as a twig

I just wanna do my thing

But I’m older and it seems that

It’s hard for me to think here at Arbitrary, Inc

Filling cartridges with ink or cleaning garbage out the sink

How's a starving artist ever gonna dominate the market

When he’s washing cars and never gets to starting something big?

How's a starving artist ever gonna dominate the market

When he’s washing cars and never gets to starting something big?

When I’m locked in my room

I harness the power to manipulate thoughts with my music

But at work, I’ve got nothing to do

With the power to manipulate dust with a broomstick

Until I can get a label, I wanna try being a disk jockey who turns tables

But it don’t pay bills, so I’m just stuck as a low wage busboy who's gotta turn tables

And when I’m not helping waiters take orders

I take orders from professional delegators

And instead of being paid for my labor

I’m paying to have myself fed to the gators

It’s a trade-off that can’t be explained well

We can grade on the scale of our brain cells

But we all walk the aisle to claim

Our rolled-up rectangles that state we’ve been trained well

And I can’t tell the value with foresight

But I know my creations will have to endure hibernation

For thirty-four fortnights

Just so they know I can press record right

I hope it's worth the relationship

Otherwise, we’re a bundle of brainwashed kids

On a loan plantation, dishing out payments

To fat bureaucrats like voluntary enslavement

Why do we buy what the government sells?

We expect more from them than we do ourselves

If I wouldn’t get banished from the public realm

I’d just tell these dictators they suck themselves

"I’ll take an order for a smorgasbord of mortarboards

Glorify the horde and then we’ll board the doors, tell’em it’s their tour de force"

There’s always more to learn with the right decisions

But we’re drowning in tuition and still lack the intuition

A disastrous fee to sit here gnashing my teeth

While they’re tossing flowers flirting with a bachelor’s degree

But actually, it’s immature to say that

‘cause we’ve gotta pay our dues now

Before our don’ts payback

What’s the difference if I get my course from the chef or it comes from a teacher?

And how do I measure the value? which one is honored? or which one is cheaper?

All the conflict hurts

My brain could go left or right, but right now it’s just just down in the dirt

My heart wants to write, but my hands need to earn

I just want to stop working and get back to work!!!!
