Why can’t I remember

I can't remember....

YO, YO

First things first I open eyelids invite the sun shine in

Light a smoke pull the blinds down before the sun blinds him

I got a list full of shit to do today I’m breathing

Reading writing smoking weed and eating right

Barely surviving how's that life of yours been flying?

Every day it's safe to stay bright and shiny

Trying to think of what i really want to say here

And how to say it loving life every day with no delay

No praying cuz I’m lucky enough in my own right

Reason? I once heard you have to make your own right?

Fight the good fight write some good rhymes

And be a decent human being while you still got time

But all this talk of mine boils down to just this

Can I face tomorrow with confidence?

But all this talk of mine boils down to just this

Can I face tomorrow with confidence?

Its like in that one movie when they crossed the streams

At the quantum level it means we're all light beams

And light waves and a bunch of atoms that spin together

Were one little insignificant galaxy

And that goes as deep as you can fathom

From the stars in the sky down to the individual atom

Its the water we drink its the air we breath

It's a piece of you and drowning in the deep blue sea

So who you gonna call to put your little minds at ease

A bit of quick wit spitting blips to my machines

The last great ghost buster deed

Photos of photons combust belief

But all this talk of mine boils down to just this

Can I face tomorrow with confidence

So please put your hands up if you've evolved

We're tripping over running but first we had to learn to crawl

And I don't know about what the rest are doing

Full of rest doom and gloom showing up truant

So reach for the stars and barely grab the net

It’s not our fault its human to hedge your bets

Never let the game get you down and

Never let the town you were raised in make or break you down

Always look up to the good people do

And please don’t start shit you can’t see through

I breath truth after grief colludes

With the pain and makes happiness worth the pursuit

But all this talk of mine boils down to just this

Can I face tomorrow with confidence
