You came in onto the scene, like, towards the latter end of Digital Underground

And, you know, there when they were really, really performing

And touring, correct?

And you were 16 when you were discovered, is that right?

Wow, so you were a baby

So tell us about MassV

Basically, I was born in Chicago originally

We moved to San Diego, California when I was really young

And I took a deep interest in hip-hop music

Producing it, and being an artist mysеlf

My mother-in-law got real close with Shock G just by bеing an Ultimate fan

Shout out to 40-ounce

And pretty much they came out there to do like a barbecue

And I played Shock G my demo, and the rest was history

What was it about you that struck his interest

And was like, okay, you're going to roll with us

He basically said that the song really caught him off guard

And that my energy was kind of like the same energy Tupac had when he first came out

Yes, I definitely feel that myself

Especially in ### that's a pretty heavy song

You know, and it actually is my favorite of all that I have heard of yours

But that's exactly who I assimilated you with

If I did not know anything about the history behind it

That's exactly who I would have thought of you know

And the way that you came on is very

Similar to how Tupac was put on with Digital Underground

And how we kind of got to really, really know more about him
