People talking, holding Starbucks coffee in their hands

真夜中でも眠らないまま

Staying up even in the dead of night

行き交う人ごみを掻き分け我先にとはしゃぐワカモノの群れ

Groups of young folk pushing from every side to get through

青春のかけらつなぎに街に繰り出す

We go out for a night on the town to treasure the memories of our youth

LED signs light up the night like mid-day

タクシーが並ぶ靖国通り

Lines of taxis on Yasukuni street

平日だろうとベロベロのサラリーマン

Drunk salary men litter the streets even on weekdays

もみ消された吸殻が歩道の脇に淋しそうに横になってる

Abandoned cigarette butts lay sadly on the sidewalk

カラスが群がるポリバケツ生ごみを漁るネズミたちであふれる

Crows flock to food buckets, streets flooded with mice scavenging kitchen waste

笑い声 怒鳴り声

People’s laughs and shouts of anger

いくつもの喜怒哀楽で

So much joy, anger, sorrow and muse
