It came from a distant desert

Its ways are twisted and dark

Its wears many rags and flags

It hides behind the eyes of empty shells

Mixing truth and lies

Building castles of illusions

Forging the golden chains

That rules masses and kings

And the contagion begins: Invade, Divide, Command

Its coils are wrapped around every heart

Its scales are carved with lies

Its tongue speaks every language

Its voice is sweater than the sirens’ one

It talks af all your secret dreams

Brings you just anguish and fear

It whispers in rulers’ ear

Promising power and gold

And the contagion goes on: Invade, Divide, Command

Centuries of prison made our blood get weaker

Till an ancient whisper speaks the word in your dreams

Memories of a past gone but not forgotten

Starts the fire that heals the alien black infection

When you see your enemy, serpent eyes start to watch every move you take

Till you sleep or look down, then their fangs bite you

Observes every day you live

It smells every breath you take

It rules the world that’s wrapped around you

Its agents are your closest

The only way to elude it is being invisible at all

And whisper words of fire in the ears of other prisoners

And the contagion begins: Invade, Divide, Command

Camouflaged and hidden invisible and silent

A secret army moves its steps to heal the ancient disease

With weapons you’re unable to see with words you’re unable to hear

A secret army no chronicler ever chanted

And the contagion goes on: Invade, Divide, Command

Centuries of prison made our will grow stronger

Now the gates are open, all the chains are broken

Our blades: the sharpest

Our ways: the smartest

Penetrate your fortress

Reach the throne you stole us

Blind to see your enemy, you won’t see when we’ll fill the shell of all your slaves

With the word you once hid breaking the key of dreams
