the FNAF series has always used audio to hint at the movements and behaviors of animatronics
this references the Freddy mask from FNAF 2 which serves as your main line of defence
this could reference the fact the many of William’s victims ended up in the animatronic suits
this a reference to one of the phone guy’s calls from the first game where he says “the animatronic characters here do get a bit quirky at night” which turned into a meme given how the vaguely the phone guy uses the term “quirky”
