Shining true as the light in a dream
Beating still as the heart of the storm
Spinning needle, through all of its seams
It's a tale telling all to conform
Walking forward, as it ought to be
All these face, a means to an end
She brought a light, and it let her see
Not knowing choice was futile to mend
As she clenched her hands, kneeling the prayer
Giving warmth to those lost in the snow
She rose above, as if she had dared
To ask everything nobody knows
If you feel hurt, were you born to hurt?
If you see blood, were you born to bleed?
If thеy leave you alone in thе dirt
Should you forgive, as prophecy heed?
Such savagery still piercing in your heart
Such prophecy still seeming so grave
Such a girl who can see through the dark
Set out to make her own path to pave
As your hearts and minds are ever changing
Darkness always plans on rearranging
Never to revisit oldened feelings
'Till another fountain meets its sealing
Marking false hope upon her heart (All from the girl's journey for belonging)
Knowing not when to play her part (Looming, clouding over, came the darkness) (So now, we're forced to ask "Who's dream is this")
And then, the girl (As your lives and deaths are ever changing)
At last, the girl (Darkness always plans on rearranging)
Now fights to pierce through the star (Trudge through vantablack, a haunted feeling)
As she did ours... (Onward 'till the fountain meets its sealing)
Never she stayed in one single place
Never she learned to follow the line
When they see such a look on her face
They can tell everything will be fine
For when the torch goes out in the cold
A firewoods been left out to dry
Clinging on to a hope far too old
Is a hope that is too young to die
As she clenched her hands, kneeling the prayer
Giving warmth to those lost in the snow
She turned around but no one was there
Turning lost where the forest would grow
Always she turned to what she'd been taught
Stabbing earth with the might of her hand
For a time, it's as if she forgot
To hold onto what fate may demand
Such liberty that's guiding her heart
Such a love for such meaningless things
Such a girl who can see through the dark
Set out defying what futures bring
Fear and joy and gloom and all emotion
Lost and weary seas, a blackened ocean
Only souls that break from its intentions
Steer the ship to hope, a new direction
Oh, hear the bells, can't you hear their chime? (Soon, she'll find embracing deviation) (In the first step guiding all creation)
Break from the line's (Hating, loving, hurting, sparing, fighting)
What it costs not to be ever blind (All a mark on pages worth rewriting) (Froming from a selfish sense of longing)
In her wake, glass will break to the mind (All from the girl's journey for belonging) (Looming, clouding over, came the darkness)
But such is the way of her dark sanctuary (So now, we're forced to ask "Who's dream is this")
Philosophers, lonely hearts and shrines (As your lives and deaths are ever changing) (Darkness always plans on rearranging)
Part of her design (Hear a ripple form, a haunted feeling)
In the hope, slightest hope, she could find (Onward 'till the fountain meets its sealing) (Darkness always plans on rearranging)
A friend made in the shade
Wise and kind
Yet the figure that she seeks is but a sorry lie...
