I walk through the nurse’s office, limping slow

Bandages missing, nobody seems to know

Tell them my pain, my ankle, my head

They just shrug and shake their head

“Here’s an icepack,” they say with a grin

Like that’s the magic cure for the state I’m in

Every scrape, every bruise, I try to explain

But nothing changes, it’s all in vain

Hall passes in one hand, an icepack in the other

I needed help, but they just smother

My cries for care, my tiny request

But all they givе is their half-hearted bеst

Icepack solution, that’s all I get

No real care, just a band-aid threat

Icepack solution, laughing at my pain

Every trip to the nurse is just the same

I try to heal, I try to fight

But they hand me cold, and I’m left to write

Stomach aches, fever, or a sprained toe

They check the clock, then let me go

I wait for someone to do their job right

Instead I get cold gel, nothing in sight

I scribble in my notebook, notes of despair

Who knew neglect could be this bare?

A hospital hallway in miniature form

But they just hand out ice like it’s the norm

Hall passes in one hand, an icepack in the other

I needed help, but they just smother

My cries for care, my tiny request

But all they give is their half-hearted best

Icepack solution, that’s all I get

No real care, just a band-aid threat

Icepack solution, laughing at my pain

Every trip to the nurse is just the same

I try to heal, I try to fight

But they hand me cold, and I’m left to write

Icepack shows — that they never learn

Icepack shows — that they never cared

Icepack shows — just another turn

Icepack shows — like they never dared

Icepack shows — they ignore my pain

Icepack shows — it’s always the same

Icepack shows — no one hears my call

Icepack shows — but I rise from it all

“Cold gel, cold hands, no one understands

I need someone to see, not just hand

An icepack for my pain, my fear, my cry

I wait and wait, still asking why”

Icepack solution, that’s all I get

But I won’t fold, I won’t forget

Icepack solution, I’ll stand my ground

Even if they never stick around

I fight my pain, I fight my way

No icepack can take my voice away

Next time I break, I’ll bring my own plan

Because the icepack won’t fix what no one can

I walk away, still bruised, still free

Icepack solution won’t define me
