Edward

Edward the boy

The boy with three heads

Oh, who we spoke of

Who we promised we would bring out for you all

Three-headed boy, he's out here, believe it or not

The first head wants a life above the stars

The center of a whirlwind

Letting all the days fly by

So do you

I bet you know those eyes

He turned to me once and had said

Oh boy

If only I could split in three

Maybe I would feel much more free

Oh, the things I could be

If I more time to be

The second head admitted he had said

Listen here

I just want a second

To catch my breath

I don't care what those other two lunatics have to say

I’m so tired

From all this running

Life of leisure is where it's at, my dear

Give me a break

The head that I saved for last

Begged for some kind of purpose

The quieter of the three

Is there a point to this all

Cause there’s no consequence to me

Eternally in between two different visions of freedom

Just tell me what to see cause my

Livelihood

Is chewed up by the fear of

Adulthood
