Brighter on the other side of the clouds, some days beautiful and dark, bright and beautiful, holding my heart in my hands ,sometimes it seems I can't feel a beat ,so you think you know me ,can you show me ,keep bumping ya gums ,try me put your feet in my shoes ,i mean in my boots.You dont know the things i can do ,will do ,as long as I prey ,I can get through the day ,I'm blessed I woke up today ,God blessed me up today ,Tell that devil to move get away from my shoulder ,watch the world getting colder ,filled with sins ,can't let these nightmares deceive me ,expect me to be down ,but I am always grinning because I see the light ,the brighter side ,I meditate to release what's deep within my mind ,doc tried to trial me on medication, threw that mess down the drain ,saying take this ,take that ,it will numb the pain,to take it away ,na I dont want it ,I'd rather prey then medicate with the green ,you gotta keep going when God gives you a head start ,I'm blessed I woke up today ,God blessed me up today ,tell that devil to move get away from my shoulder, get away ,get away
