[Verse 1]

I've been told it gets better later in life

Well, a ghost don't thrive and can feel strife

So, I guess that's right, but it's not later in life

It's reaching my death, doesn't really entice me

I've seen what life offers

And I'd have to be stupid to throw it all away

Instead of getting through all of the difficult days

Because I know that there's better ones in the way

Hard to say how many people are living

In standards of life that are so unforgiving

It stops them from living their lives to the fullest

It stops them from living until their adulthood

Helping them is what adults should do

But it is not something that's possible for them

Because, if it was something adults could do

They would definitely do it, right? Wrong!

People are blatantly dying in places

That are lacking a stable society

And all it would take is some government funding

To try to be stopping these people from running

But they just ignore it

Government step on the gas till they floor it

And drive away from all the people suffering in other countries

Who have nothing, while they sit back and count up their money

[Chorus]

Strength is all we have

In a world made to keep us down

If we keep ourselves afloat

We'll never get the chance to drown

I don't want to be a ghost

With unfinished business

I want to live my way till I'm six feet underground

Strength is all we have

In a world made to keep us down

If we keep ourselves afloat

We'll never get the chance to drown

I don't want to be a ghost

With unfinished business

I want to live my way till I'm six feet underground

[Verse 2]

They're bad eggs that they come from a corrupt Easter bunny

I'm not great, but at least I'm funny

And my beliefs breathe positivity

And a little bit of peace for people who's lives are sucking

My luck is much better than most people

And if you can hear that, you're probably the same way

End of night, you'll likely struggle to get where you are

And you lived in a state of pain

In the past, face down [?] pass the graves in the grass

Stay away when I'm asked, but I hate to be passed up

I don't really ask much, I just want to help, but

I never understand everything you don't tell me

Well, we may need to start delving

Into things that need some quelling

Ask for help, I'll get to helping

But don't just stand there and say that you're fine

And I know that you

Think that everyone is against you

But that's not true, that's far from true

Just look at the obvious clues

I have no reason to lie

And I'm not known to

But, please believe me

Because I love you

[Chorus]

Strength is all we have

In a world made to keep us down

If we keep ourselves afloat

We'll never get the chance to drown

I don't want to be a ghost

With unfinished business

I want to live my way till I'm six feet underground

Strength is all we have

In a world made to keep us down

If we keep ourselves afloat

We'll never get the chance to drown

I don't want to be a ghost

With unfinished business

I want to live my way till I'm six feet underground
