Lost in the labyrinth of life

Ran out of string some time ago

A fading reality

Keep it cautious

Dodge daggers from family, friends, and faculty

Actually tackling issues that throw off my balance

Mind blank for a second

Here comes Lucy whispering

"Stay Alive"

Reverse psychology

I want to die

Sunday school taught never do what Satan requires

Leave my grave unmarked and bring in the choir

Yell for my squire

Tell them scribe all my shortcomings, failures, and let downs

Don't forget all my scars and times I've bled out

Said his hand hurt

No time to rest now

At war but keep writing while you put on this vest

How

You expect this knight to jest on things that reflect out

Can you read a blind man's strength if his voice doesn't suggest power

Or take a warriors word if his words stress coward

For that's not how the world conditions you

You hear with ears and see with eyes

Instead of letting your spirit feel truth

You would assume it takes a slueth to deduce from reason

But the lack of faith is spiritual treason

However I must admit that I learn in seasons

So for me to tell you this

I bring us back to equilibrium
