We can pray

But we wander astray

I'll run away like my dream today

Try and not to think so far away

These things don't come, or do they?

To hear is to obey

So gray

Often I have little more to say

If the moon shall never sway

I'll fade away

Well, not that I could stop it anyway

Life is what we crave, that is okay

We stumble and fall in some way

In search of a better day

But it just won't stay the same

There is no need for blame

What else can we make them take?

Sometimes you just have to fake

All I want is love, but it's late

And all humans make such a mistake

It's not our fault, it's touché

So do not wait until doomsday
