[Verse 1: Lethal Dialect]

Remember summer nights at the school gates

Listening to old school tapes till it was too late

Before i had to pack my suitcase to move place

Yeah its a shame they're gone, full of pro's but mainly con's

I couldn't name in songs, we used to picture them the same as Don's

Discussing saving bonds and campaigns while arranging pawns

Over Dom Perignon champagne and prawns on food plates with Filet Mignon

But the truth was in the news-breaks

Paranoid feuds based on huge stakes that mutate

Faster than they found somebody they could blame them on

Remember the day them two older heads came along

My father said 'in groups of two, you get the brains and braun

The braun is the strength but the brain's as strong'

I concluded the braun was the man with the screwed face

The brain showed no mood in a fugue state

They pulled a kid out his house in his nude

And what we viewed made a few faint

They mutilated his face and spewed him in blue paint

Looked at us and said 'see kids, selling cocaine is wrong'

I seen a couple of similar situations dawn

It taught me life not utilized, well that's a true waste

And that was when I obtained a bond

With something somewhere way beyond

[Hook: Lethal Dialect]

When the sun's low, the street's glow

Fluorescent lights from police sirens, massage parlors and peep-shows

The cost of life's low and talk's cheap so

Keep your eyes wide open and keep your beak closed

Its where I grew up, its where i learned how to be a man

Its why i'm constantly in beast-mode

Forgive me if I seem cold, I don't trust much

Around here ain't nothing but wolves dressed in sheep's clothes

[Verse 2: 4Real]

I used to go to school, get the same education as some of them

Now look at them, hustling has them ducking the bullets

For something they probably wanted none of in the first place

Got stuck with full weight, in court awaiting the charge on the gun case

There's too many indians, not enough chiefs

Blinded by cash enough to cut cheeks, look at the kids screaming 'Fuck peace!'

And throwing their fingers up to police, nothing but thugs

With their badges and uniforms starting wars on the streets

So walk with me awkwardly, through filthy back alleys and dormitories

The poor unfortunates bang heroine but can't afford to eat

I know its torturous, but every street corner is gonna have its lawlessness

Kids wanna be bosses, lacking supportiveness

Of course I see the mentality, fixed on what's unimportant

Working like horses for the futures of their sons and daughters

How much longer they going to ignore it instead of sorting it?

The education for youth is imbalanced and disproportionate

They see the fortunes, coke on the titties sniffing it off of them

With figures political, lavish living, sitting in offices

Everyone wants a piece of the action and this is obvious

I watch them building more prisons than clinics and hospitals

How we can we overcome the obstacles if we don't acknowledge them

Impossible, ways to get riches and always an honest one

But I guess we can dream though, the teens murder teens for kilos

Breaking the street codes, has me stuck in beast-mode
