How Vast?

Delve deep, peel back the layers of the mystique

Only to find that the world is not as it ever seemed

Run fast, don't look at the truth in front of you

It'll change your mind and a world will rise anew

Conspiracies too vast, possibilities too hard to swallow

Worlds collide to fight for the dominant view

As I step through this new doorway the structure fell apart like a changing dream

It's coming closer with its breadth and gaze

I feel the pressure of my imagination outweighed by pure potential revered

I'm falling fast into this rabbit hole from which I peered

Then I reach toward the sky

Facing up to what might pass me by

Questioning all of my ways

All in hopes of better days

So many questions leaving me frail

Jaded, I pulled back the veil

Now you've found out whats underneath

The glossy sheen of the world stripped clean

Thrown off of its higher ground

Lost with the idea's that held it down

Confined no more at last

I saw inside a grain of sand a universe, how vast?

From a place so serene I piece together a mosaic that the world has never seen

Taken aback by the depth

Complex structures with unbound breadth

Leaving their mark on my mind

As of late I've come to learn that my search for the truth has just begun
