[Verse 1]

We’ve come this far

So why doesn’t it feel like enough

Don’t come to my doorstep

Begging for candy

I don’t have any

[Verse 2]

We feel like piles of lead

Look at all i’ve done

How much is gone, and out of the way

My world is a couple of names

I give myself the blame

[Spoken Word]

The sun begins to rise, heralding the coming of a new day

It shines over the crisp, snowy peaks of the distant mountain range

Casting the light in a mixture of dark shadows and enveloping warmth

The small men that livе in other’s vans on the mountain

Don’t seem to mind the sun, dеspite their affinity for the indoors

They step out into the light, basking in the warmth

Watching a small bee land on one’s finger and nibble at his cuticle

This offends the man. Now the bees are gone

The men start to paint the mountain, coating it in a smelly, viscous shade of red

The light shines perfectly, blinding the eyes of the tigers

Which leave small, red paw prints as they run back up the sides of the rocky cliff

And will go hungry for another day

The moon sits, solitary, in the sky

It captures all light, surrounding itself in a glowing aura, like a black hole

Watching down and casting its soft, turquoise shine

Across the mountainside, and the little men that live within

They look up to the night sky and wonder

What else is up there?

Past the limits of our sky, what else can exist?

Will the earth subsequently collapse, foreshadowing the coming of a higher species?

Of some power bigger than us?

Is there a God? Is he, she, or It prepared for whats to come of the human race?

The oceans, the moon, the sky, the land will tell the small men of their fate

What they really deserve in their tiny hellscape of their own creation

What’s left to do?

[Spoken Outro]

The “bass cat” is a rare scientific phenomena

Not much is known yet, by our community

But the hard work we’ve already invested won’t let us give up now

Ladies and gentlemen, never let anxiousness regarding unknown territories or vast worlds of knowledge yet explored

Hold you back

The time to act is now
