Yeah, showtime

My very first mixtape

Probably won't be my last

So let's get this thang started

KidExcluzive

Young cat from the Veg just tryna live life

I do my best to keep away from anger and strife

Lived my life without a father even though he's still present

The old things in my life is tryna leak into my present

Yeah, I fall short but who doesn't

Acted like a female with all the complainin' and the fussin'

Not to mention gettin' caught up in the gossip

Realizin' I was hurtin' loved ones, I had to stop it

Too many women in my family and too little men

Without my pop, I had to figure out how to become a man

Injured too many people with unintentional ways

Consequences came at me like a tsunami wave

Thin line for trust and lives ruined

Steady pickin' up the pieces sayin' "I didn't mean to do it"

Insecurities was high through the roof

Seein' friends with females and I'm the one alone in my room

Emotional crutches made too many women turn tail

Now they pregnant, got kids, or they man is in jail

Or even if neither exist, I saw happiness

Felt guilty for my mistakes which dropped me to sadness

But enough with all bad, let's switch it to positive

Still a great young man, optimism over negative

Confidence was too low, now it's at a moderate level

Not afraid of anybody that's includin' the devil

My spirit is free but it belongs to Christ

I'm blessed in the day and blessed in the night

I rather be honest than be labeled a fibber

Better known as a curse breaker, never a curse giver

Got a lot to learn though I'm still in my prime

Spiritually gettin' ready before the final time

They say it takes a village to raise a child

Any my village did more than an extra mile

Forever grateful to my Creator, family and friends

My love for them runs deeper than my veins

And if I ever get weak

I know I can do all things thru Christ who strengthens me

If the chains of life bind me, it won't be long

'Til I break 'em with my faith and keep movin' on

Put the serpent in his place, he's forever defeated

Cause with the Lord on my side, I'm never beaten
