Overfloweth

I fall asleep much easier now

There were years when I didn't know how

My body is the wreckage of a watchtower

Like a little fishing boat on the loch

I've tied myself to a humble wooden dock

I feel secure that I'll wake up in the same place

And I feel comfort when the water starts to rock

The sky doesn't always have to be dark

I've made it through a couple Scandinavian winters

I'm like a baby in the belly of the beast

And I've still got a sense of adventure

Let's watch a movie on the couch

Mightn't sound like much but you know that it's ours

And tomorrow let's take the car down to the river

I count my blessings like a child can count the seconds

And hold a moment like the moment was a cup

I don't know what I did in the last 15 years

But the sign's changed now, and it says not to touch

The sky doesn't always have to be dark

I've made it through a couple Scandinavian winters

I'm like a baby in the belly of the beast

And I've still got a sense of adventure

You know I'm not about to give up

It's not time for white flags yet

Overfloweth my cup, overfloweth my cup

The sky doesn't always have to be dark

I've made it through a couple Scandinavian winters

I'm like a baby in the belly of the beast

And I've still got a sense of adventure
