In a the grip of the bottle, I found my fall

A cradle of glass, my only thrall

Each drink a step, a stagger, a sway

A dance with the devil, in dismay

I drowned in the depths of liquid scorn

For the one who left my heart forlorn

The fucking bottle, my treacherous friend

Promised oblivion, but pain without end

'

I hated how you didn't miss me, not one bit

As I poured another, and tried to forget

The dizzying spin, the room took flight

The whiskey hits, I lost the fight

I thought I might call you, in the dead of night

But the bottle whispered, "It's not worth the spitе."

I hated you didn't miss me, with evеry sip

As I filled my cup, and let my heart slip

After the last drop, I still wanted to reach out

But drunk me knew, it was filled with doubt

I felt like I was wasting my time, a fool

For chasing a girl, a love so cruel

So here's to the bottle, the fucking cause

Of a heart that once was, and now is lost

A toast to the memories, now turned to frost

And to the time with you, that I I'd lost
