(Verse 1)

There are a lot of people out there that feel low

Grief, depression, and stress is all they have to show

To write this song is me, not the best

But there’s an important message here, just play the rest

Just look around, there’s someone in emotional need

Crying out, and getting on their knees

And Pleading “God, why did this happen to me?”

They’re searching for an answer, but getting no lead

Crazy things, go through these people’s heads

Staring towards the sky, as they lay in the beds

Sayin’ “hmm, what if I took the pills, the noose, or the bullets?” nah fam, that’s what kills!

Listen here friend, wait for the second verse

Whatchu feelin’ right now, it’s definitely not a curse

Look inside yourself and face the problem head on

And before ya know it, the quote-on-quote “curse” is long gone

(Verse 2)

If you know someone who feels like a joke

And seriously considering that suicide is the way to go

Tell them “No! Stop! Now you gotta be trippin’ to actually think for a second that life’s not worth livin’!”

There’s so much in life to look forward to

Even the small things help. Funny cat video? Sure, that’ll do!

As you get older things will get hard, expect it

Who said life is easy? Take that comment- trash it

One thing that can bring you back from this mess

One thing, that can help get all dis off your chest

Is your point of view, of the rest of the world around you

Keep it negative, and it’ll mentally pound you

But keep it positive, and you’ve struck gold!

Now your soul is not nearly as cold

Look inside yourself, and find no debate

Now you realize life before this rap wasn’t nearly as great

(Verse 3)

Just one more thing before this beat turns to the end

Remember that this song can surely help mend

A life up, so make sure to lend a hand

To one in need, and also pass on the deed

This world of sorrow, yeah it’s in a sad state

But if we try, we can create a better fate

The end of humanity? Put that idea back on the shelf

To make a change to you and someone else, just look inside yourself
