Reboot

A room that's still a bit dark, a magician descends

And just says, "Goodbye"

The time when days began to pass without seasons

I still remember it, you know

"See, I decorated them in your favourite colours."

One by one what we tied together came undone

Before we realized what we really wanted

We feared its completion and kept our distance

Now we're watching an electronic dream from a black and white stage

Footsteps that prayed for rebirth

The faded fourth dimension then changed its colour

And uttered a newborn's cry

An everyday scene blocks the way to escape

And repels its sunlight at dawn

Seasonless days continue endlessly

That's what it feels like

When the truth is known, somehow it's not what I expected

The heat haze, clad in sorrow

The story where we always feared completion and closed off

Opened with a sequel--

We're watching an electronic dream from a black and white stage

Footsteps [of one who] prayed for rebirth

Then the faded fourth dimension changed its colour

And uttered a newborn's cry
