Her name was Cherry

Met her in the spring

Flowers in her hair

Could tell her anything

Most gorgeous blue eyes

She was my best friend

She never lied to me

She never played pretend

When I needed help

She came to save the day

Right by my side

Got me through it straight away

The shoulder I could cry on

She would always comfort me

When I got my feelings hurt

Stayed with me, didn’t leave

Only one that I could trust

Didn’t judge me for my flaws

Every time she cheered me up

Treated people with kindness

Even when she didn’t agree

But one day it got to her
