Full circle

Thank God, I don't look like what I've been through

In my 23 years, I've learned skin isn't bullet proof

Within lies there's a hidden truth

And sometimes people always value what they can get from you

(I see the truth)

I've seen demons take human form

Tragic how that's become the norm

I've been blessed since a new born

Growing up in a family that's torn

In this digital era

You would think it would be clearer

We hide behind filters with mascara

I'm afraid we made an error

Is it too late to turn back?

(Back, back, back)

Snow may fall and cover our tracks

But do we know how to adapt to a life without phone screens and double taps?

(tap, tap, tap)

It's not all bad, just a little mishappen

Maybe it'll improve if we have some patience

But faith without work is dead

& the more we rely on politicians is the gun click to our head

Posh on the mic, I'm your favorite spice

Slicker than black ice

They're showing snake eyes like a pair of dice

Venomous conniptions

Like my thighs, I feel the friction

Illusions or suspicions

I feel connected to Egyptians

Something about ancient Kemet makes me question religious

Deities that lay before us

Healing fortunes like the eye of Horus

Call me gump, I'm racing through the forest

See the trees, they speak historic

Repetitive like a chorus

My aura is amorphous

But can be defined as gorgeous

Can't be chillaxing while my dreams are steady lagging

Told myself I can make anything I want happen

I'm divine by design

The potential exponential

On the path of credible credentials

Cooking up experimental

Perfect execution is essential

Ease and luxury is preferential

They love to say that I'm mental

But can't afford my dreams, I'm special

This you already knew

Banging out these verses, but they're just too meta for you

Reality trickles like snow fall onto my shoe

I'm using water color to paint a story brand new

Now picture this

A young girl on some ignt shit

Brought into this world, born to be different

Knew what her mind could do and grateful that yall listening

I just bought my ticket now we swimming in

Unchartered water, also known as California

Palm trees up and down the border

Watch my life on the recorder
