Intrusive Thoughts

[Verse 1]

Intrusive thoughts on my brain

‘Cause these days, life isn't the same

As it was when I was a kid

Before the world turned to shit

Blessed and cursed, for better or worse

‘Till the day that I’m put in a hearse

Every day, tryin' to beat a case

Constantly, on a paper chase

I don't see any end in sight

’Less it's the end of my life

It's a shame, life gives us pain

Like moths, we're drawn to flames

No need of a pencil

No paper either, not even a stencil!

I know worrying's bad for my health

But sometimes I could do with some help!

[Verse 2]

Right now, I need shots to my brain

Anything to relieve this pain!

Drink, sex, rap, beats

Anything to get me back on my feet

The thing is, I got my problems

Sometimes I wonder where I got 'em

I'll do anything, just to sort 'em!

’Cause nowadays, I just die of boredom

I wish there was an easy remedy

To everybody’s hatred and jealousy

Of the rich and of each other

I know it's not hard to love one another

I know the game of life is fun to play

But everybody’s views are jaded these days

It's all about gettin' those big bucks

Otherwise, no one gives a fuck

[Verse 3]

Yes it's true, I’m a little bitter

Like an immature bitch on Twitter

And I hate to rant and rave

But it seems drama's what everyone craves

Not me, I'm self made

I'd rather rap until I'm paid

But what if my dreams don't come true?

If that's what'll happen, what can I do?

Rap my heart out, see where it goes

When will I stop? Nobody knows

Maybe when I'm up there with the pros

And people stop coming to my shows

‘Cause I'm on my grind, like a mastermind

Take my time, ‘till I find

All the riches are mine

Then I can live all fine

But ‘till the day it comes true

And all my dreams push through

Honestly, what can I do?

I'm just a simple man like you

Nowadays, I let the beat play

Spit the shit that I need to say

In hopes that all my hopes may

Become reality one day
