Yo, it’s got the quirks man

Let’s make this work man

Watch me go berserk man

Watch this...

(Hey you, what’s that sound)

(Everybody look what’s going down)

It’s J. September, B (y’all remember me?)

(Try to rhyme but they can’t)

Even contain what’s underneath this attire

(I set the microphone on fire)

And then the stage, and then the crowd, and then the venue

Go run to your mom and tell her Verbalixir sent you, yo

(Rough like Timberland we’re here)

Had a couple of beers and now my mind is clear

Now I’m here, and I’m beyond feeling the moment

I chose it, hip-hop I own it, dropping bombs of atonement

Listen (Hey you what’s that sound)

(Everybody look what’s going down)

It’s J. September, B (y’all remember me)

Pursue life that’s incendiary ‘til the end of me

I got a couple a diamonds and a couple of gems

Got triple the kindness for quadruple the friends

Got myriad ideas and never heard of a writer’s block

I just talk, skywalk and watch the biters drop

I got the tighter hot shit to make the dimes flock near

(Rough like timberland we’re here)

Steering my vessel into the unknown

To become known as prime commander of the microphone

This is the fun zone, if I actually tried hard

I’d probably misguide your soul and leave your mind scarred

Cause these timed bars can convey any message I want

You underestimate rap, I got the blessings to haunt

And those moments in music that tickle your spine

Relax and rewind to an earlier time

So just drink your wine, and just sip your whiskey

Catch the magnitude of me just like you catch a Frisbee

Because this be more than I ever meant it to

I spent a few years rotating rhymes in a centrifuge

So I present to you the cream of the crop

I got a dream and won’t stop until I’m seeing the top

Between the seams there are drops of crystallized thought

Now I’m misty eyed from visualizing that prized spot

(Still tripping off that old shit)

Got fellas still tripping off my decade old rhymes

Now as an old timer think I might have hit the gold mine

I don’t control minds, but I control mine

I mastered the bastard for performing at show-time

Bottled up my past evils, poured them in a cold stein

Sold it to the devil, watched him go the whole nine

Now I hold divine futures and aspirations

And will achieve my goal between words and respirations

These destinations are seemingly reachable

And what I find on the other side is increasingly teachable

I preach it though before I was unredeemable

I found my worth in what’s unbelievably inconceivable

Freeze this vehicle, I didn’t mean to get so deep

So go to sleep, imagine cash, clothes and hot freaks

And bottles of malt liquor and bags of cannabis

Stand for something ‘cause I know you can’t stand for this
