Chapter 3

I take a walk down my block to the park after dark

I'm looking sharp with my black swag and high tops

I got a line to chop, I got an L to spark

The liquor store's well stocked we drinkin' “White Shark”

Tragedy pays my salary, paints my gallery

Mortality... my apathy leads to atrophy

We’ll call this Chapter 3, actually life’s naturally

Satisfactory, analogy of abnormality

I’d happily rest fast and free but life it is refractory

Capacity of faculty = mastery of strategy

Take notes like the academy but save your flattery

Good grip on morality, hold up, factually

Assault or battle me - that’d be catastrophe

Gravity of that disaster: ravage your anatomy

Yo, take your quackery straight back to the factory

Rhyme alacrity with the master key it’s Zachary

Fifty-two issues cascading like glassy shards

Laden with scars in the shade of the moon and the stars

Faded and marred, my humility traded for bars

I made it this far, have I played all my cards?

I had a full deck – I was the keeper of aces

I was the reaper of Kings and the seeker of places

The receiver of the Queen’s secret embraces

Jack of all trades, let me teach you what grace is

Reach for spaces beyond, got my head straight

No dead weight, I shred and dominate, I emanate

That’s why I meditate, shit that’s why I medicate

Defying every estimate, never hesitate to decimate

Dedicated phrasing discover truth and sincerity

Craving verbal dexterity, no replacing, no parity

No facade, no parody, it’s amazing the rarity

Epiphany, eureka moment, praising the clarity!

In a metropolis turned necropolis

My sonorous voice reaches flocks of its populace

Promises spew from the depths of my esophagus

From the hollowness of the depths of my unconsciousness

Never monotonous, we steady rock to this

Heads will knock to this – do a bop to this

Acid blotter with droplets of the ominous

Fuel reconnaissance of gritty inner city politics

Documents displayed: synonymous with dominance

Mess with me the consequence, end in a sarcophagus

I’m on the top and with eyes of a hawk I lift

My gaze to watch glyphs fall off the monoliths

A proper mix of anonymous and prominence

I’m copping this opulence from bottomless

Pits of confidence, steady chasing spirals like a nautilus

Never stopping this ‘til the dawn of the apocalypse
