[Verse: 1 isuppose]

I was looking through Facebook, then I got a message

From some girl named Sarah, she was 19 and pregnant

She wanted advice, 'cuz her dark nights were restless

Confused and depressed, she could feel the Devil's presence

But let's go back 8 months when her boyfriend was locked up

She was having sex with her ex and they never used a condom

And her boyfriend got outta jail and she got knocked up

Not sure who was the daddy but she didn't wanna get caught up

So she told 'em the truth, how she was addicted to meth

She would kicking it with her ex, he forced her to have sex

She described it as rape, the way he penetrated her flesh

Submissive to the drug, she had no power left

What she would do for a hug, her man showed her no respect

All she wanted was love, but she contemplated death

Then the only remedy was the smell of tweak on her breath

She was on her path to hell, taking some large steps

And as I listened to her story I get this pain in my heart

So I asked a few questions and she took me back to the start

When she was 3, her mother left her, tore her family apart

Mama was a needle addict, daddy didn't care at all

So she smokes to numb the pain, it's been days since she slept

But since Sarah got pregnant, she had to put the pipe to rest

She wrote down deep rhymes to get the stress off her chest

And I swear I almost cried when I heard what she did next

[Hook: Carolyn Rodriguez]

You run away, and try to numb the pain

'Cuz when you've lost your faith

And what remains is just a piece of who you used to be

So abused, bruised and beat

''?''

[Verse: 2 isuppose]

She was 4 months pregnant, aggravated with life

Her bright days turned dark, her heart was blind to the light

She was sad and confused, couldn't make it through the stripe

Had nobody to turn to, so she turned to the pipe

She smoked crystal for two months, hardly ever missed a night

Every day she battled demons, these times she lost the fight

She had a baby in her stomach, then she gripped the pipe's sight

And hailing death, every hit was a sacrifice

But she kept it a secret, she was fucked up mentally

Neglected her soul, 'cuz her inner self was her enemy

So she turned to the music, favourite rapper was REVERIE

She used to bump her songs and used it as life therapy

But things got worse after a few small breaks

Now she's back to smoking glass, white smoke on her face

Now she's 8 months pregnant, still no hope of faith

She feels like she'll never survive her cold days

There's a blizzard in her heart, slowly killing her child

Now sitting, wondering if Sarah will ever get to see her smile

As she's telling me the story I, pause for a while 'cuz she just got done smoking and her mind's running wild

And a part of me wants to throw her ass of a building

But I was an addict too, so I understand the illness

So I told her how I felt and I gave her nothing but the realness

And made it into a song, so that everyone could feel this

[Hook: Carolyn Rodriguez]

You run away, and try to numb the pain

'Cuz when you've lost your faith

And what remains is just a piece of who you used to be

So abused, bruised and beat

''?''

[Verse: 3 isuppose]

''Dear Sarah, I'm sorry but just know you're not alone

And I know its tough when you gotta survive on your own

To be honest I was kinda mad when we spoke on the phone

It broke my heart knowing you were pregnant and still getting blown

I was an addict too, and I know it's hard to take control

But you're about to have a baby so think with your heart and soul

There's moms who lose their babies never get to see them grow

I could've lost my life too when I was four years old

You gotta take care of yourself, do it for your son

Do it for everyone who believes you can become, a great mother

You see your mom decided to run

So don't give your the kid the pain your mom gave you when you were young

You're doing a few weeks, I wish your baby could help

'Cuz you were blessed with an angel, yet you put him through hell

Everytime your baby kicked, he was asking for help

And you were selfish everytime, only thought about yourself

But I didn't write this song to try to make you feel guilty

'Cuz we all make mistakes, I just hope that you feel me

See it's never too late to cleanse the soul when it's filthy

I'm just trying to help you kill the drug that wanted to kill me

And this song is probably gonna get hated on by many

The ones who don't understand what it's like to feel empty

But I'm here if you need me, until then, God bless your soul

And God bless your son

Love always
