The reemergence

A surge of adrenaline peaks

When it hits you so hard that you can’t even speak

Loss of breath from your lungs like a vacuum hose

I’m fairly certain it’s a feeling that everyone knows

Deep in my chest I feel it as it heaves on my breath

Heaviness that won’t recede ’til I leave the flesh

I won’t be afraid of death, even when I’m on the verge

‘cause I know that when I go, somеhow I will reemerge

Finally breaking out of my shеll

I found solace in solidarity

But what it becomes not necessarily what I’ve prepared to be

A spectacle, captivating, it can’t turn away

The audience left hanging off of every word I say

I didn’t want to touch it but the skill won’t be denied

Even when they try to strip me dry of all of my pride

I stood strong to not let it get out of control

Overcame feats by reaching deep into my soul

See I’m the type of guy who never had a lot to say

Up until now, I kept my words locked away

I knew that I had skills I had not displayed

I dug so deep I started hitting rocks and clay

Went deeper with the [?] shovel, splinters in my hands, signifying work I put in to meet the lofty demands of my fans

I advance for them, nobody else

At times I love music more than life itself

I took necessary steps to ensure that I’d leave a legacy

So when I’m dead and gone, I want the people to remember me

Strictly as an artist

Stick me in the heart

It’s not the first time it’s been broken

In fact it’s an open target

A light shown through the darkness and guided me to this path

I fell astray momentarily but now I’m back

You thought I was gone, then a hand comes out the grave and grabs your leg

[?] grabs the life and I stay

Rooted in my ways

Music is the blade I used to cut deep

Underneath the skin, I pull it out and let the blood seep

No longer will I be afraid of the other side

I don’t believe in death, we just begin another life

To reemerge is the most beautiful thing

When I go I’ll be regarded as a musical king

Engrave it on my gravestone

I will find my way home after so many years on this cursed planet alone

I won’t succumb to fate

I’m only here to create

When that mission is fulfilled, I will walk through the gate

Taking everything I’ve learned, no possessions or objects

When life ends, begins the transitioning process

When some will struggle, others move on voluntarily

Life is a school, we’re only here temporarily

And so we put flowers at the grave to remind us

So for those who have passed, let’s have a moment of silence

Returning to the earth is not all it was cracked up to be

I know there’s more to life than what I see here in front of me

The spirit world exists and from death comes life

So when I get there, I’ll be prepared to prove myself twice

Life is tough and there were times I just wanted to die

Yet through my entire life, I just wanted to fly

But only do you earn wings when this life is done

The coffin’s only a cocoon

The best is yet to come
