I just googled the news, feels like I can't win

Everybody's offended, nobody knows why

Well, we all look happy on our Snapchat, but we all know filters can lie. How can we see tomorrow, if we're scared to walk outside?

I'm bloody, broken, and bruised on the inside. I feel like running, but there's nowhere to hide. Was it always this way? Or is this the new norm? My mama always says "hey son, just weather the storm. You know the day will be brighter when this darkness is done." I still believe in a better day, and I still believe in love. We need consequences for our actions. We need the strength to rise above. But hey, this is the world that we're living in. Sometimes it's hard just to be alive. How can we see tomorrow if we're scared to walk outside?
