Just another day of my life

No more than twice, no less than nice

Another walk through stacks and piles

Never a time without surprise

Never too light to keep inside

Say

It will rain

Be it pouring

Any change of a heart

The sun is always shiny

Let it be

I wish I could see a clue

The life I have been through

Wherever I belong, that I knew

What’s mine too

Just another day of my life

No more than try to stay aligned

And time’s a little unkind

Another blue and grey at night

Even the dark should see my pride

No one can hear me sing it all right

Say

It will stay

Be it burning

Any change of a heart

When the day feels mundane

Let it be

I wish love could make it true

The dreams of me and you

However we belong, that you knew

We’ll sail too

Just another day of my life

Never a time without surprise

And time’s a little unkind

Another blue and grey at night

Even the dark should see my pride

No one can hear me sing it all right

It’s like a prose without no rhyme

Like a toast without no wine

When you chain yourself to life

Love and unison

A pleasant surprise

We don’t need more reason

To stay alive
