I find myself standing beside the apocalypse

A massive explosion that has paused in real-time

Fragments and light and a nucleus of energy, stunted in the earliest stages of expansion

This glitch in reality: my last fucking chance to escape

No

I make it seem as though I prefer to indulge my awe

And prepare to be vanished by imperial tonnes of debris

(shaped like a sphere)

Suspended on a tear in the sheets of existence-

Like the invasion of a newborn galaxy consuming the last from the inside out. So many joules

Every part of me is already tethered to shrapnel, or evaporations thereof

The shadow behind me is the only thing that can remain, if anything can remain at all

Imbecile

I’ve considered this event from the humble human perspective, whose fat men leave dust etchings behind the ground where boys once stood

Instant extinction is beyond my comprehension, as are the means to the end

I clutch a ticket to the convergence of dimensions and my attendance is mandatory

Does this mark the opening of a new portal, for NEW TYPES?

Clamber through the gap (perhaps) and tread their soles on post apocalyptic marshlands

In the new cycle they are sure to know how to build efficient engines

That will stand them in good stead to avoid what might be punishment

Oh! The romance of contiguous sets of inhabitants!

Why can’t I surrender to an infinity without life

Physics, nor The Gods, are sensitive to sentimentality

They can't even tell the time

A scorched earth, obliterate it to gas

How fast is it going to go?

I wish I could smother it, but I’m no fucking hero

Where's the eject?

Where's the eject?

Where's the eject?

Where's the fucking-

Where's the fucking eject?
