Lightning Strikes

Chorus:

Lighting strikes

Strikes the surface

With this pen I write

From serious to circus

With this feelin' I fight

It seems to be urgent

With this mind I see sights

And finally it gets to searchin'

Verse 1:

I glance out my windows-to-watch-the-rain

It serves as a metaphor to just begin-to-top-the-pain

I know the feelin' now, to suspend-to-topple-the-aim

As I sit and watch the storm, I descend-to-dopple-the-blame

I thoroughly move towards these, goals-in-my-brain

As I approach the dream, I plan to, roll-in-my-fame

And eventually turn to succeed and, roll-in-my-gain

But for now let's write and relax, and toke-in-my-name

The vicious storm ahead, is-brutally-brewing

The way I'm feelin' right now, is-beautifully-shooting

It's makin' me change myself, it, is-prudently-rooting

For me, to tackle the industry, it, is-opportunity-stewing

I hear the thunder comin' and rumblin' in-the-distance

It's on its way comin' into the sky, in-the-existence

So here we go, gettin' the storm, crashin' down, in-the-existence

In which, we're truly insignificant, in-the-instant

Not bein' able to truly understand the ways-of-life

I walk through the metaphorical, ways-to-write

To truly understand the way of rap, prays-to-despite

How everyone thinks and acts, I need to change-to-fight

Chorus:

Lighting strikes

Strikes the surface

With this pen I write

From serious to circus

With this feelin' I fight

It seems to be urgent

With this mind I see sights

And finally it gets to searchin'

Verse 2:

Then, the power goes dark, all we need is a spark

To get started, to eventually get us out of this darkness

Polishin' up the written lyrics on Notes now

I'm now, gettin', more and more ideas as I sit down

And look around, the dark house, not time to pout

Lights may be out, but my minds still runnin' fine

I time the times I rhyme, with a metaphorical passion

Yeah yeah man, I've said that with a snappin'

Yeah it's happened, double entendre on the rappin'

I'm playin' around, writin' for fun, no time to run

Watchin' the hail pour down on the walls and windows

Yeah man, I'm in those, the way I write, when times are grey

I must say, seem to be way more great, then my other raps

Dark times can make, and even bring the passion in rap back

Chorus:

Lighting strikes

Strikes the surface

With this pen I write

From serious to circus

With this feelin' I fight

It seems to be urgent

With this mind I see sights

And finally it gets to searchin'

Verse 3:

Now, back to the story that was originally be-in'-told

The sky is startin' to clear up, I'm startin' to see-an-old

Form of my rap style, which was beginnin' to see-in'-mold

When I first started, even before the first, and-old-"Hello"

When I realized, time was the great treat for, a-good-rap

And know I realized I've released some seri-ous-crap

In the past, well yeah of course man, every-one-has

And that's that, can't dwell on the old staff, of-my-rap

So now that I see the sun, is bein' relieved, from-the-dark

The thing that I really needed before, was-a-spark

That would eventually change my way of the rap-pin'-ark

That has been my career so far, sneakin' up like-a-shark

Right now I need to ignite the ignition and flip-the-switch

This instant I'm on this, like you on a frick-in'-dick

I travel the roads alone so here we go, lit-tle-prick

I need to get out of my comfort zone, smack-a-bitch

As the sun rises, and the outer and inner scenery dri-es-up

Theres something that was needed to be learnt, from-the-cup

That you must take a sip of, and be ready-to-duck

For the feelin' inside was just a complete, steady-mind-fuck

Chorus:

Lighting strikes

Strikes the surface

With this pen I write

From serious to circus

With this feelin' I fight

It seems to be urgent

With this mind I see sights

And finally it gets to searchin'
