I keep running from the echoes, but they follow me inside

Every truth I tried to bury still finds a way to rise

The monsters wear my face, the silence speaks my name

You can’t escape the fire when you’re holding the flame

I’ve blamed the world, I’ve blamed the night

But I can’t heal what I won’t fight

This is shadow work, digging through the dirt I made

Peeling back the layers where my secrets stayed

It’s the mirror, it’s the fracture, it’s the cost of the climb

But I can’t find the light if I don’t face what’s mine

Every scar I ever hid is tattooed on my soul

Every mask I wore in daylight turned my heart to coal

But the dark is where I find the pieces I denied

Only broken glass can teach you where you shine

I’ve blamed the world, I’ve blamed the night

But I can’t heal what I won’t fight

This is shadow work, digging through the dirt I made

Peeling back the layers where my secrets stayed

It’s the mirror, it’s the fracture, it’s the cost of the climb

But I can’t find the light if I don’t face what’s mine

Strip me bare, let the darkness show

Every hidden truth I need to know

I can’t outrun the weight of my own hands

But in the ashes, maybe I’ll stand

This is shadow work, the battle I can’t escape

Facing every ghost that carries my name

It’s the mirror, it’s the fracture, it’s the test of my time

But I can’t find the light if I don’t face what’s mine

Face what’s mine

Only then I rise
