Student’s “revenge”.
The fact that students hate teachers fails education. Teachers disconcern about students' personal feeling, and do not respect students as individuals who have their own dignities and self-consciousnesses. What teachers care most is students' grade. That results from the examination- oriented education system.
In3 criticizes teacher’s disrespect to students. In school, a high score determines whether he/she is a good student or a bad student. Only high grades would allow a student to go to a better high school or better university. Teachers get bonus money from school for having a student who goes to top high school or top university. Therefore, teachers pay much more attention on students' grades than on students' moral education. Some teacher pays less attention on students who have low grades. Some teachers even dislike students who have bad grades and do not want to spend time on them.

The teacher’s behaviour here contradicted herself because spit on the ground is not a proper or civilized behaviour according to regulations. This represents that the teacher is double-sided and only focusing on others' problems (especially the protagonist/artist). This is related to the theme of the song which is to criticize the biased behaviours that the teacher applied to the student.
In3 thinks that teacher calling parents and telling parents about students' bad behavior shows that teacher is not qualified to solve problems by themselves. That teacher just want to pass the problem to parents, and does not want to take responsibility of student’s behavior. Calling parents actually embarrasses students because most students do not want to make their parents down.
Demonstrate how the students who don’t want to participate in class are eager to have the break between each classes. They consider themselves “free” during the break because teachers would not be around watching their behaviors
Parents would give gifts to please teacher so that teacher would treat their child better. It is very common in China. IN3 criticizes teacher that she is only happy when she gets personal profit. Here “gloriously” is a satire.
Teacher is reading an article from the Chinese textbook. The article is about a chinese soldier, most likely a communist, fearlessly faces his death and despises his enemy. Chinese students are asked to study those articles, which serve as an education of the Party, in their six-year-mandatory primary education.

Clever sarcasm towards the Chinese education system. That’s how Chinese teachers analyze the textbook, and they can always conclude something from nothing. That’s also the skill required to take Chinese exams, which is to analyze the sentences and talk shit to make teachers happy…
Different than the U.S., students in Asia do not travel to classes but that of teachers. Because asian students will stay in the same classroom for a year, teacher would assign specific corner seat for some students who make noise in class. Sometimes teacher’s judgements are bias.
Shaking a bottle full of water won’t make any noise. Only that half botton would make noise. It is a metaphor saying that people who are knowledgable are always modest. People who know few like to show off. Teacher is satirizing that student, saying that he is only “half bottle” and knowing nothing.
People who have chinese primary education should be familiar to this scene.
Satire on teacher’s inappropriate behavior. IN3 say that she gets the climacterium disorder so that she always loses temper. Then IN3 say he is “sick” too, bad words disorder. Actually here IN3 is making fun of that teacher.
Highest score: 5 points. He gets 2 points out of 5, which means he fails homework every time. He says that teacher actually never closely looks at his homework. She just grades his homework casually. His grade only bases on teacher’s impression of him.
Old Chen: Student’s father. Since student’s last name is Chen, his father is called “Old Chen”. It is actually funny and childish when he says “No Way” “Old Chen favors me”.
Refers to the previous line “I have never been arranged to another seat”. the student is most likely to be arrange into a corner seat, which is also likely to have a trash can besides him.
In order to get good grades, most students go to after school tutoring. Even though it is against the law, some schools have after school classes/tutoring, which are taught by school teachers. Students have to pay extra money to go to after school classes. Since the class is taught by school teacher and almost every students go to after-school tutoring, students have to pay the money and go to the class even though they do not want to. Some teachers, in order to help students get good grades, ask students to come to their classes. In3 think those teachers tutoring students are only for making money. They are not sincere.
A common physical punishment that could be found in primary school and middle school.
Self-criticism letters:
Written self-criticism. Teacher always ask students who made trouble or break the rule to write a self-criticism letter. In the letter, students are asked to write about what happened and what they have learned from the trouble they made. Students are also asked to write about their promise of future behavior.
Disciplinary tickets:
The black mark on the file of student who breaks the rule.
Teacher’s son asks student’s father to help the son find a job. It is like teacher’s son uses his mom’s relationship with student for personal gain.
