Stand back

Precious one!

Perhaps you cannot see

But covered I lie

In fleshless wounds

Painfully reopened

With each touch

Full of an ooze

Toxic and caustic

To porcelain skin

Though you've never

Heard my cries in the night

Be thankful!

For the constant ring

From the words I sing

Deafens and collapses

All meanings and senses

Tell me about

What you want to forget

That I may become

Constant reminder

Lay down before me

All fears and regrets

Dragged out down the line

Hesitation cramps these hands

Cracks my voice

And at times it seems

Pleasure

Relaxation

Elation, eludes every moment

Dim lights in the fog of past

Since you seem intent to share

My unbearable sufferings

I'd only be so happy to oblige

For I too was born under a bad sign

Butterfly knives in my belly

Uncertainty

Anxiety

Closest friends

Let's learn to live as one

To awaken with the new dawn

Never to stand alone

But by choice or conviction

Together, let's awaken calamity's dawn

Our lifetime

Seals the fate of all lifelines

Less than two centuries

Self fullfillment of prophecy

Still we're ready

To turn and face

Ancient debts

Tidal shadows

Rising screams

For then we'll know

From beginning to end

What happened

Buried together

Beneath ancient debts

Finally paid

Though repossessed
