I want to fall asleep to northern lights

Waterfalls, the mist that sprays my neck

Run through streets of cobblestone

Rundown bookstores, walls of the unknown

I crave boundless roads to places I can go

But pinned in red upon my map is the place I crave the most

I miss my home

Diagrams, lines that cross and cross again

My mind is on a grounded constellation

And I connect the dots

Like Sagittarius inked upon my skin

A globe is just the world at our own fingertips

It seems like such a small world after all

So I packed my bags but no one told me

I should pack my toughest skin

I crave boundless roads to places I can go

But pinned in red upon my map is the place I crave the most

I miss my home

Singing teapots, ringing phones

Barking of dogs

My heart beats to the sounds of my own home

Purple sheets and bubble baths

Bright blue walls

My inner compass lies under the floors

I'd love to see a Paris painted by the rain

But I'd rather hear my mama call my name

I miss my home
