Drywall Cracks

Awake to a room covered in tattered papers

Grinning stains, the only paintings on the walls

On the sagging ceiling my eyes spot a familiar line

Its daily travels make no difference to me at all

Squashed in this corroding space

My everyday life encased

Shan't continue misplaced

Drywall cracks scream at me

No such thing as destiny

Drywall cracks, I hear them say

Not another day spent astray

Staying on the side which still is intact

Instinctively I rush out with empty hands

Navigating through this infinite maze

I shall remove myself

Drywall cracks scream at me

No such thing as destiny

Drywall cracks, I hear them say

Not another day spent astray

Structures demolished in a vertical river of knowledge

A prophetically tactile, relentlessly unidirectional fractal
