As this giant stands upon me

I grind my teeth and inhale deep

Looking down I keep my pace

Looking up I see no suns

My will claims to be fed like a fire

Thoughts are blades on a frozen lake

I let them glide out of me

Like a messenger of nothing

With a spider behind my ear

With Sycamore branches in my hands

With old silence in my heart

I'm the path itself

I'm the soil that I tread on

What is real a this time

Is the ice in my lungs

And the noise of my own steps

Echoing the solitude that eats me up

One bite per tear

Heading to myself

Feels like a skull chopped off a body

Rolling down a crevasse

Falling for a lifetime

There will be a day to wake up again

I bow to that

Fire is power

Power is silence

SIlence is fire

And so it be
